Soda is added when the kiln is at peak temperature and carried by the flames to collect on the surface of the pots, melt, and then harden to form a glaze. Check out the broil marks! The clay body turns grey in reduction, plays well with the Caledon glaze effect. These are one-of-a-kind and ready to serve up your next bowl of ramen or ice cream sundae.
